It was our 9th wedding anniversary, we have been together 16yrs mind, but it took me a while to get the cuffs on

we werent sure what to do, he had the day off and we didnt want to spend it sitting around the house all day, but we had limited time as we did have the tumble dryer coming at 2pm and so we decided to go to the Anglican cathedral inliverpool and whats more we were goign to do the `tower experience` which involves 2 lifts and 108 steps,

it seemed such a good idea when we first thought about it, lovley clear day see for miles etc, ut 20 steps up i was wondering if the ambulance was coming 50 steps up i looked like a beetroot, and 70 steps up it suddenly dawned on me why i was dying the diet im on has the sum total of under 500 cals a day and i had used all of them and my body was screamng for mercy,

but when we arrived at the top, and i had my breath back, the views were spectacular, although i suddenly remembered i was a little wary of heights, lol a little late when your 500 feet above sea level, but none the less a great experince,
the inside of the cathedral was stunning i have always loved architecture, i knwo buggar all about it other than i like to look at buildings. you wonder how they make these fantastic arches and ceiling,

while we were there i spent the whole time whispering lol its an ingrained thing about not speaking out loud, mark reckons its cos i swear too much and was scared of being heard, he may have a point,

well the saga of the tetras is over really as now they are installed intheir tank and looking hapy, although one has disappeared, down the gullet of the other 4 no doubt, and the water is clear and lovley, but my other tank has gone weird lol and has lots of little things in the water and is cloudy, so thats being treated as i type,

The diet is humming along nicely i have lost a total of 3 st 1lb in 7weeks, and although i was a teensy weensy bit disapointed with the last two weeks as i lost 4lb on each week, i slapped myself for it as over all its a fantastic loss, and with the end in sight im actually thinking of moving my goalpost further away and going for another half stone to put myself in a position of safety so that if ever i put on a few pounds i will be ok and can afford to get rid of them with excercise,

im trying to do crunches and failing dismally though i should point out this isnt me being lazy i do have old neck injuries, as in i broke it in `82 and shouldnt really do crunches but i need to work on the flab on my belly which ok has shrunk a lot but will never go , i hate the idea of a tummy tuck, a, cos i cant afford one, and b, cos i should imagine it hurts and im a coward

im soo lookng forward to wednesday when my son goes back to school he is so bored and driving me mad, i think he has been grounded so many times this hols for being cheeky that it is standerd now, although he is very handy when we go shopping i wont miss having to explain why we cant buy 12 different cereals,

Im no further in with getting fish for the new tank, i now have a `bacterial flourish` which has made the water go very cloudy, im assured it will clear, but im releuctant to put fish in there in case a) they bump into each other int he mist and b) it probably wont be good for them, and now added to the othere crap the light stopped working, first we replaced the bulb then the starter and still it wouldnt work so in a hige tantrum i ripped it all out and bought a new unit, which we fixed in last night and lit it all up, loks very pretty if a little cloudy still, its just pissing me off now,

and as if to mock me, my other esablished tank with puffer fish in has developed a problem, there are millions of floaty bits in it, and having tested the water there is nthing wrng int he levels, so i took some water to the local aquatic shop and we are puzzled, as we cant work out if its floaty bits or teeny bacteria, so i might rip out the plants today and replac them with false, they never ate them anyway so they wont miss them as a source of food, and they are pretty well fed, im waiting on a phone clal from the guy who owns the aquatic shop he wasnt in yesterday and im hoping he can shed some light on this,

Diet is going well, more and more people stopping me and commenting how much weight i have lost, and then there is always the `oh but that cant be good for you losing lal that weight` to which my standerd reply is ` but being grossly overweight is god for me? ` they usually say oh yes i suppose,` or they say i coudlnt do that, to which im always tempted to say ` yes well i bloody am dont be so negative` but i resist the urge,

i got a new fish tank, a lovley hexagonal one, bought it for £30 off a friend who assured me the filter (a reasonable good one ) was fine and ready to go and the heater was great too, so i thought yup £30 is a bargain,
I already have a big tank with my puffer fish in, who are like two little lap dogs lol, and i have always wanted a smaller more ornate tank for some neon tetras, which i think are so beautiful and schoal sp? beautifully, so i assembled the tank, bought some lovley purple grit and some nice ornaments, and then realised the filter had no insides, so i bought the bits inside which cost about £8 for the two types that go int here, (could have bought a new fluval2+ for a few quid extra ) put that in and then the heater which started practically boiling the water, no matter how low i turned it down, so that went in the bin and a new heater was bought for £12, now the piggin light wont work, and im seriously considering buying a complete new light unit as the one thats with it is flurescent and although i have replace the starter and i know the bulb hasnt gone cos it does flash on now and again, i dont knwo whats wrong with it, so im lkley to have to buy a new light unit which with bulb is gonna cost int he region of £15, coupled with the gravel and everything this bleeding tank has cost me about 75 quid already and there isnt a bloodey tetra in sight yet,

i had my birthday meal, well i laughinglycall it a meal, in my previous life as a one woman food eating machine it would have been a sandwich filler, i had some green salad with a teeny time amount of beetroot and some chicken, and it was yummy, took me about half an hour to eat it, and when i did i had t lie down lol felt like i had eaten a full banquet, and i had terrible indegestion, but im back in ketosis this morning, although i forgot to test last night to see if i went out , and i have a mild headache which im wondering if it had anythign to do with the few carbs that were in it,

and i dont feel any inclination to eat anything else, luckily, and have gone onto my soups again quite happily, so all in all a success,

and what a birthday i have had so far, and its only 8.15am. the flaming dog got loose, and we were scouring the neighbourhood at 6am for him, eventually found him in next doors side yard, we dont know how the hell he got out, as we put netting up all over the very tall gate and somehow he has got thru it, and then he got through trellis fencng and more net, the dog is a reincarnated harry bloodey houdini,! i remember looking out the kitchen window about two years ago and wondering what the hell was climbing the chicken wire and there he was a little yorkie six foot up the chicken wire making a bid for freedom, i wouldnt have beleived it had i not seen it with my own eyes,

so that was the start to my birthday, then i was up sipping water sparingly cos i have my weigh in at 9am, and water adds pounds lol, so until im weighed i cant do more than sip,

after that im going to boots to see how much my gift card my lovley bruv has given me has on it, bloodey daft things these new gift cards, you have no idea whats on them till you go to the store and ask the to run the card thing through the till, i like the old fashined gift vouchers, still it was a present and im not ungrateful,

then we need to go to homebase and see what kind of stuff we can get to stop the dog climbing out, hubby suggested a lump of concrete tied to his collar but i think thats a touch extreme, although it would work, im at a loss though and hoping for insparation, you wouldnt think a farting little yorkshire terrier could get out the places he does,

the rest of the day i intend to spend doing nothing, although i will be having a meal of chicken salad, this is a birthday treat and will be the first food i have eaten since july 11th, im not ecpecting it to stay in my system very long lol as i have heard it shifts through you quite quickly when you on this diet, and i havnt been doing add a meal week either so it will be weird eating real food,

i just remembered i got a new cycle machine for my birthday so i will be doing a few miles on that as well today, every little helps,

i got rid if my blog about my diet,(the cd thing) it got boring writing about it, it was becoming my life, and im more than a diet, im still on it and i will mention it here no doubt and im still as comitted, weigh in tomorrow uh oh, also im finding it so bloodey easy that there was nothing to write, and im aware others doing it might not be finding it so easy so i didnt wanna upset them,
